29" or mullet?
Mullet setup has hor its significant advantages for shorter and mid-height riders mainly. Therefore we decided to deliver Giga in mullet 29"/27.5" for sizes S-M-L and sizes XL-XXL as full 29".
Carbon frame construction
The Nukeproof Giga is built around a full UD 700/800 carbon fibre chassis that balances strength, stiffness and vertical compliance. Each section is tuned for its job. The front triangle prioritises torsional stiffness for precision and stability at speed, while the carbon rear triangle allows controlled flex to maintain grip on rough terrain. This approach improves tracking and comfort and reduces unsprung mass so the suspension responds faster and more consistently. The frame feels razor sharp in turns yet remains composed on steep and broken descents. Sculpted tube profiles, integrated protection and service friendly hardware reflect a focus on a lightweight, durable and race ready platform for riders who demand more.
Giga features are giga
Every detail of the Giga is specified with the rider in mind so it can be ridden harder, last longer and be easier to live with day to day. The sculpted carbon frame carries a 750 ml bottle with a carbon cage included and an accessory mount under the top tube for tools or spares, keeping essentials close and your pack light. An integrated rear mudguard, generous mud clearance for tyres up to 2.5 inches, a threaded bottom bracket and MAX bearings deliver long term reliability in harsh conditions. Durability and serviceability are central to the layout. Accessible hardware, sensible Allen key sizes, laser etched torque markings and tube in tube internal cable routing make workshop and pit work straightforward. The frame also uses 3D contoured rubber guards on the down tube, seatstays and chainstays to keep the Giga quiet and protected from strikes. Practical, tough and rider focused, the Giga is built to be ridden hard and maintained with ease.
Geometry
The Giga’s geometry and suspension are tuned for a balanced mix of stability, speed and agility, delivering efficient climbing and confidence when gravity takes over. Built around Nukeproof’s horseshoe driven linkage, the system uses an eccentric main pivot axle to let riders set suspension progression at 25.5 percent or 29 percent, matching terrain, conditions and preference. Both settings provide supple small bump sensitivity, supportive mid stroke control and a progressive end stroke that keeps the bike composed on big impacts. The Progressive plus setting can add shock progression on a coil setup in a way that is similar to adding a volume spacer to an air shock, and the extra suppleness is beneficial in wet and slippery conditions.
In line with Nukeproof’s Long, Low, Slack and Steep geometry, the Giga offers stable high speed handling while remaining agile in tight technical sections. A steeper seat angle maintains an efficient climbing position across sizes, and longer reach and wheelbase figures give the chassis a planted race ready character. The result is a bike that feels balanced and controllable, planted when needed, playful when you want it and ready to be pushed hard.

Originally, Nukeproof focused on high-end components, such as carbon and aluminum hubs, and later on frames designed for racing. The flagship model was the Mega, developed for the extreme Megavalanche race in France. In 2010, the first downhill frame, the Scalp, was introduced, and the brand gained popularity on the World Cup circuit thanks to partnerships with teams such as Chain Reaction Cycles-Intense. In January 2026, Nukeproof was acquired by the Belgian company Cycling Factory, strengthening its position in enduro and DH.
