The UEBLER i21 Z is one of the most compact towbar bike carriers. It can carry two bikes, including e-bikes; it fits without the need for a lever; it weighs 13.5 kg; and with its 90° tilt, you can open the tailgate even on MPVs and vans.

Please note: even a 90° tilt is not sufficient to open the rear doors of the new Mercedes-Benz Vito fitted with the original fixed tow bar.
Versions
We offer the carrier in the standard version, as a set with a carry bag, in the DC version with integrated parking sensors, and in the DC version with a bag.
The carry bag set includes a carry bag for the i21 Z, i21 Z-DC and i21 S carriers, in which you can conveniently carry and store the folded carrier.
The DC version features a built-in Distance Control parking assistant. It activates automatically when reverse gear is engaged, alerts the driver to obstacles behind the carrier with both visual and audible warnings, and disables the car’s factory-fitted parking sensors to prevent the systems from interfering with one another. There is no need to connect anything to the car – the display is powered via the 12V socket.

Before purchasing, check the maximum vertical load capacity of your tow bar (you’ll find this in the vehicle registration document or on the tow bar’s label). The weight of the bike rack, including the loaded bikes, must not exceed this limit.
UEBLER is a family-run business based in Forchheim, Bavaria, which has been developing and manufacturing car accessories for over 55 years. From its origins in car accessories and bespoke modifications, it has gradually become a specialist in a single product – towbar bike carriers.
Development, production and assembly all take place in Germany in collaboration with regional suppliers, meaning that every carrier bears the ‘Made in Germany’ label. The company manufactures to the IATF 16949 quality standard, which applies to suppliers to the automotive industry, and over decades of development has patented a number of its own solutions – such as the IQ locking mechanism for quick and secure attachment to the tow ball.
UEBLER towbar bike carriers are among the lightest and most compact on the market, as confirmed by independent tests. In the 2025 test conducted by the Austrian motoring organisation ÖAMTC, the i21 model came out on top as the lightest carrier in the test, taking up the least space when folded. The i21 S model was awarded the top grade of 1.0 in the 2026 test by Auto Bild magazine.
UEBLER sells exclusively through specialist retailers and provides servicing and spare parts for its carriers – every carrier can be repaired either by the manufacturer or by a retailer.
